Road trip ( Part 4 )

After checking out the amazing farmers market at Marin Country Mart, we planned to take a hike to Point Bonita Lighthouse. It was a nice 30 minutes drive or so from where we were at.

The tunnel halfway to the lighthouse is open only during visiting hours: Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The kids loved the tunnel!

Point Bonita Lighthouse is reached by a half mile trail that is very steep in parts. Discover Point Bonita's wild landscape, geology and fascinating history. It was a perfect hike for the children and for "mom and dad". (my in-laws).
 Breakthtaking views along our hike.

Beautiful flowers too. This is wild fennel.
Took a photo of J take a photo...
Inside the lighthouse was neat. Look how narrow the doorway is!

The kids really enjoyed crossing the wobbly bridge too! This is a photo of the lighthouse from
the left side.
This was the neat tunnel that is carved into the mountain that we had to hike through on our way to and from the lighthouse. Neato!
